Tweaked my site as part of our Blogging101 course and would love some feedback!
I’ve updated the About page to give the reader an introduction into what is the Spanish Moss Series. Considering posting a few excerpts of the first book but will wait until I’m done with the first draft.
Since my books are set in Savannah GA I’ve added a Savannah page to offer information to give the reader some insight into the city and encourage them to visit.
Please let me know what you think and if the picture links work on the Savannah page. Most have links to noted sites but some places don’t have websites. Any advice you have would be appreciated.
Cheers
Might be helpful (if you can) to make a hyperlink with the word “about,” and the word “Savannah,” above, so the reader could just click on those words and be directed to those pages. You have them typewritten in bold face so I thought they would be a link. 🙂

Great idea! I noticed that on my ipad app I can’t click on the blogger to get to their site so this is a great idea thanks! Will edit later today.

Competition chef for open fire pit, grill or smokers. We have a love for all foods but he loves to cook outdoors. His smoked ribs have won competitions against other chefs and hopefully he will get his blog up and running like mine soon! You can google KCBS or Georgia BBQ Association for more information. Thanks for checking it out!

Competition chef for open fire pit! That sounds amazing! We don’t have anything like that here in the UK! Weather not good enough. I love food too, especially steak. I will look for further info as you suggested. Thanks.

Your header photo is really eye catching, the About and Savannah titles now work as links to their respective pages.
Is the blog mainly to promote your upcoming books, if so I think that posting a few excerpts would be a good idea.
Culinary links 1,2 & 3 work
4 doesn’t
5 Vinnies does
6 Skylers does
7 Crab Shack does
8 Sugar Shack does
9 Tubby’s doesn’t
Bull Marina does
Coastal fishing links to Miss Judie’s
Ossabaw works
Lady Chablis doesn’t, pity, it links back to your site
SCAD links to Savannah visit
Bonaventure doesn’t
City Market doesn’t
Ghost tours doesn’t
Wormsloe doesn’t
Tybee does
All the blue hyperlinks in Drink up and Lay your Head work – The Six Pence pub is amazing, looks like a British bar.
I wonder if you wouldn’t be better with 2 lists; one of links, the other of “interesting places with no website”?
You’ve done a great job on this.

Thanks Steve! Your right some of these don’t have websites so maybe I’ll note that or provide a general visitors link…On my way to fix them so should be working better shortly!

I’m intrigued and looking forward to your book. It’s always nice to read a good mystery with a female lead character.
I love that you’ve added the Savannah section. Nice having the background information. Your About section is inviting and makes a good connection to the reader.
Keep up the great writing!
